WHAT OUR CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY
Therapy is a moment of extreme vulnerability and can be an overwhelming process to many - I was one of them. The starting troubles were apparent, but DeStress and Rohini's approach to conversation and the process made things a lot easier. Through our sessions, I have felt motivated to work on myself, be kinder to myself and those around me and be more aware of the impact my actions have on myself and others. While some sessions left me energized and excited for the future, some gave me a much needed outlet for reflection and introspection. I have a ways to go, I'm sure, but DeStress gives me a safe, trusting and non-judgmental space to start walking in the right direction. I started off scared and anxious, and while I still have my moments, I'm able to understand them better and cope with it all with a kinder hand than before, and Rohini 's guidance and professional help have been vital in the process. A bonus - Rohini's funny, so there are always laughs.
Rohini is the kind of person you can connect with instantly. She was recommended to me by a friend and I too have recommended to her to a few friends who have found her counselling to be invaluable and apt for them. Personally, I had two sessions with her which were super friendly and brought fresh and useful perspective to my life. The things we discussed still stay with me and helps me navigate my life with more discipline and positivity. She even spends time outside the paid counselling hours sometimes to text and send material to her clients that she might find helpful for them which is very reassuring and shows her commitment to your self-betterment. Overall, loved her professionalism and advice and would recommend her to people of all ages.
Rohini is an affirming and positive therapist. Very caring and listens well. She allows me to discuss my emotions. When I talk with her, I feel I'm talking to an old friend. She intently listens to me and I do not feel judged which I really appreciate. I always feel better after talking to her and feel like her advice was exactly what I needed to hear.
There is no lack of therapists in the city or the world right now but finding a therapist who understands you and is not condescending is the best thing that can happen to you. Rohini is one of them, she is kind, patient, empathetic, and truly a gem of a human. I have been fortunate enough to have Rohini as my therapist for over 2 years now. During all my sessions with her she has listened to everything I have to say and has not admonished my feelings or thoughts. As an over thinker with a varied amount of issues I have found that after every session with her I have felt relieved and valid. She makes you understand that your feelings are valid and guides you through it. She has helped me unpack my deep-rooted issues, taught me how to unlearn certain behaviors, get over bad relationships, bad choices, and given me advice and guidance which has helped my over-all life. I have been very vocal of her help in my life, due to which a lot of my friends have also consulted and benefited from her sessions. Rohini is an absolute professional and trust- worthy. Anything you say to her will be confidential. My mantra is all of us can benefit from therapy. If you are looking for a sign this is it. Please reach out to Rohini. You will not regret it. Hopefully, this helps whoever is reading this to decide on choosing her as your therapist.
This is hardly my first testimonial for Rohini. When someone changes your life for the better like she did mine, you simply have to pay it forward. A trusted friend introduced Rohini to me and I'm glad I took a bet on therapy. I didn't know what to expect but Rohini made it all too easy - I felt comfortable instantly, knew this was a safe space with zero judgement and no facades. Trusting her came easy. It's genuinely safe to say she changed by life and gave me confidence to keep faith and let good things happen. And I still reach out to her occasionally and she's always right there - rock solid. Several friends of mine - and even my mother - have benefited loads from taking a leap of faith and reaching out to Rohini. You should too.
Rohini is extremely professional and really helped me through a very tough time in my life. She helped me find myself when I was completely lost and depressed. In many ways, she saved my life.
Rohini put me back on my feet during a phase that I'd describe as the darkest of my 15 year old professional career. She is an empathetic, caring and sensitive counsellor who is interested in your well being. Over a period of 2-3 months, she helped clear the cobwebs in my mind and built back in me the confidence that I seriously lacked at the time. It's been more than three years since that time yet the advice she shared has stayed with me and has helped me understand myself as a person better. I break my head a lot lesser now on things that would worry me to bits earlier. It's incredible what a simple conversation with her can open up whether in terms of unlocking potential or unearthing a strength of yours you didn't know you have. I'd consider her as my counsellor for life.
Rohini is great at what she does. She relates to you and your problems easily and always gave me clarity of thought by the end of our sessions. There was very little "ramp-up" time required to get her up to speed. Unlike other therapists/counselor businesses, Rohini makes sure she's available for you, getting her time was never a problem. However know that your progress is on you entirely, she will not dictate a schedule/plan, she won't chase after you to get better. But when you do decide to get better, she's will be there to support you through it without a doubt. Rohini is also direct and tells it to you as it is, even if it's not what you want to hear. Overall, counseling was a new experience for me, but I'm glad it was with Rohini :)
